Fair Offers a Variety of Delicious Foods

Can you smell the Italian sausage, popcorn, and French fries in the air? Can't you just taste those elephant ears, candy apples, and Philly Cheesesteaks piled high with onions and peppers? What about the collard sandwiches, turkey legs, and fried banana pudding? We all know it is not the healthiest food in the world, but there is nothing more delicious than fair foods, especially some of those home grown, made with love things we crave every year at the time.
It does not matter what night you plan to visit the Robeson Regional Agricultural Fair, just make sure you plan the trip so you can eat dinner at the fairgrounds. You will be able to select some very special foods that are available only one time each year Ė during the county fair. You will be able enjoy a good old hot dog with all the trimmings, or an Italian sausage with onions and peppers. You can enjoy an elephant ear pastry, or a collard sandwich. You can experience traditional pizza, or a fried Snickers.
Before you do go to the fair, please understand that certain foods at the fair can be well a little more expensive than you might be used to paying. If you like traditional foods like hot dogs, French fries, and Pepsiís, you will not spend any more for a meal than if you went to one of the fast food places in town. However, if you are adventuresome and want to sample the exotic foods of the midway such as fried banana pudding, curly fries, rib eye steak sandwiches, and giant lemonades with squiggly straws, you should understand that you will pay extra for a meal like this.
All vendors that have been permitted to operate on the fairgrounds this year are required to post their prices where they can easily be seen. You are encouraged to determine what your meal will cost before ordering. If you do not understand the menu or the pricing, please ask the attendant what it will cost before ordering.
Are you hungry yet? Can you smell the fair in the air? Iíll see you soon at the fair.
